  4. So I suspect they’re trying to attack the big “mound” of ’09, ’10, ’11 ARM resets on that chart (from Calculated Risk?) that shows the # of resets by year and ARM type. I remember a recent CNN Money article with the headline “Obama wants you to refinance” or something like that. I don’t see how the Fed can sustain this. And once they stop, won’t prices drop and push long term int rates even higher than they might have been otherwise?Maybe the alternatives were worse.
